The Sumner Hold Down Device is expertly designed for holding pipe while welding or handling materials. The high tensile strength chain holds up to 12" pipe. The Sumner Hold Down Device is perfect for working with short lengths, fitting up flanges, valves or fittings. Extension kits are available for up to 40" pipe. The Sumner Hold Down Device is similar to a chain vise for pipe. This Sumner unit utilizes high tensile strength chain to grip material in any Sumner Vee Head Jack.
